Here we are! This is the front parking lot. The easiest way to reach the castle
is indeed by car. There are two roads leading up to the castle, one from each side.

Here, and on the other side of the castle, there is lots of room for cars.
There is also a train station and a bus stop at the foot of the hill. The
way up is very steep though ... so if this becomes this year's EF location, we would
organize a shuttle service.

As you can see, the castle is surrounded by an ancient
wall made of rocks. The location consists of a courtyard,
an inner court, and the three building segments. There is
a small road that leads all around the castle outside of the walls.
We're on this road now, approaching the gate.

This is the main gate, leading into the courtyard. We're on a
little bridge. Invisible from this perspective is the castle's moat,
now to our left and our right... it's not filled with water though,
just lots of mud. Following a long Eurofurence tradition, we luckily picked
the most rainy day possible for our exploration ...
