Meow! Eurofurence is Europe's largest annual international furry convention. After some painful weeks of delays, things seem to have settled. This year's convention is the 6th Eurofurence in a row, and thanks to the help of Heribert "Raschkar" Vogt, we have finally found a new home. Everyone will do their best to make it an even bigger success than last year. This page will give you a quick overview over the most important facts about Eurofurence. For more in-depth information, please click on the corresponding links or use the navigation bar at the top of the page. Everyone is wholeheartedly invited to join our convention, and have a great time! The logo on top of this page was created by Drachenwerk

The con will begin on Thursday, 10th of August and end on Sunday, 13th of August. We strongly encourage everyone to register as soon as possible. We are going to allow on-site registration only in special cases this year. Please check out the registration page on details how to register, the prices, and what you can do if you are not sure if you can come or not.

Eurofurence will be held in a youth hostel in the city of Göttingen, Germany. We have accomodations for up to 150 people. The site can be easily reached both by train and by car. Click here for further details, or here for some photos of the con site.

The EF6 core team consists (in no particular order) of Sven "Cheetah" Tegethoff, Stephan "Jumpy" Bartels and Andreas "Tabalon" Jaekel. As always we're searching for friendly, motivated and responsible furries who want to be part of the staff. If you want to help, be it by organising your own con event, or simply by lending a hand, please do not hesitate to contact us!

If you have any questions about Eurofurence, you can reach us anytime under ef6@eurofurence.org. But please, have a look at these "Frequently Asked Questions" first. Uh, well, at least potentially frequently asked questions :)
  • Why was there no call for votes for the con site this year?

The answer is simple: Because nobody has found any practival site locations except this one. The youth hostel was found in mid-feburary, and was a true last-minute opportunity, and there was no more time left to wait for any other contributions. We'd like to point out, that some people did contribute suggestions, although most of them turned out to be unelegible for Eurofurence. A big thanks to those people anyways! We honestly appreciate your help!

  • I have read the deadline is over. But I want to attend, can I still register?

You are right. Registration is officially closed. However, we still might have some last-minute spaces left. But we can not guarantee it. Please do not register without contacting us by email first. If you are reading this just very shortly before the con, please at least call us by phone before coming. It is likely that we will have some spare capacity for spontaneous visitors, but very limited.

  • I have sent money, but did not get any confirmation within one week. What shall I do?

Please contact jumpy immediately if you have any problems with your payment.

  • I have registered, and I want to be in the same room with my friend or in a single room. What now?

Unlike what we did at previous Eurofurences, we're going to try to clear up the room situation BEFORE the con. That means we will be trying to pay attention to people's room preferences, and try to honour their own choice of roommates. We have about 20 rooms with 6 beds, 10 rooms with 2 beds, and 10 single rooms. That means, no matter how hard we try, we will not be able to fulfill everyone's wishes. Please understand that. Please don't be disappointed if you don't get that double room you wished to have alone with your best friend. We can't help it. You can tell us your preferences by email.
