Note: This is a copy of the waiver you will be handed at the check-in desk at the convention. It is presented in german and english for legal reasons. The real waiver will also include your name, address, registration number, and any open payments. This text is presented here for reference only, you will receive a physical copy when you check in at the convention.

1. Eurofurence wird von Eurofurence e.V., Sitz Köln, ausgerichtet. Mit Ausnahme der vom deutschen Gesetz vorgeschriebenen Mindesthaftung übernehmen weder Eurofurence e.V., noch seine Erfüllungsgehilfen oder die Veranstalter irgendeine weitere Haftung für von mir verursachte oder erlittene Schäden jeder Art. Eurofurence e.V. übernimmt keine Haftung für Schäden oder Unfälle, die außerhalb des Hotelgeländes vorfallen

Eurofurence is organized by Eurofurence e.V., an incorporated social organization located in Cologne, Germany. Except for liabilities required by German law, the organizers will not be responsible for any damage done by or to me. In no event shall Eurofurence e.V. be liable for damages occurring outside the hotel premises.

2. Ich erkenne ausdrücklich die Verhaltensregeln (Abschnit "Rules of Conduct" im Convention Booklet, ebenfalls bereits bei der Anmeldung im Internet verlinkt) als verbindlich an. Auf Anfrage wird mir eine deutschsprachige Fassung dieser Regeln ausgehändigt.

3. Ich erkenne ausdrücklich die Regeln für Photo- und Filmaufnahmen (Unterabschnitt "Photography and videotaping" der "Rules of Conduct" im Convention Booklet, ebenfalls bereits bei der Anmeldung im Internet verlinkt) als verbindlich an. Auf Anfrage wird mir eine deutschsprachige Fassung dieser Regeln ausgehändigt.Ich Übertrage dem Eurofurence e.V. das exklusive kommerzielle Nutzungsrecht an allen von mir während der Veranstaltung im Hotel außerhalb von privaten Hotelzimmern gemachten Bild-, Video- und Tonaufnahmen. Nichtkommerzielle Nutzungsrechte bleiben unberührt.

I agree to be bound by the "Photography and Videofilming Rules" as printed in the Convention Booklet and linked to during the online registration process. In particular, I hereby grant Eurofurence e.V. the exclusive right to commercial use of any photographs, film, or audio recordings made by me at the convention, with the exception of recordings made in private hotel rooms. I retain non-commercial fair use rights.

4. Die Regeln für Waffenträger, die sich in englischer Sprache im Conbook wiederfinden, werden von mir als verbindlich anerkannt. Ich erkläre, daß ich keine illegalen Waffen mit mir führe, und verpflichte mich, jede Waffe, auch z.B. Schaukampfwaffen, von der Security beim Einchecken Überprüfen zu lassen.

I agree to be bound by the "Weapons Policy" as printed in the Convention Booklet. I declare that I did not bring any weapons that are illegal under German law, and that I will show any weapons I brought to Security upon check-in.

5. Die Anweisungen der Organisatoren, der Security und der Hotelangestellten sind zu befolgen. Schwere oder wiederholte Verstöße können mit einem Verweis von der aktuellen Veranstaltung sowie mit einem Ausschluss der Teilnahme an künftigen Veranstaltungen des Eurofurence e.V. geahndet werden. Ich akzeptiere, dass im Fall eines selbstverschuldeten Ausschlusses keine Erstattung der von mir geleisteten Teilnahmebeiträge und Übernachtungskosten erfolgt.

I agree to follow instructions by the Organisers, Security, or Hotel Staff. Sanctions may range from a friendly reminder to an indefinite ban from the convention. I accept that there will be no refund of convention and hotel fees if I am banned from the convention due to failure to follow the rules.
