REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT

In order to take part in the convention, you are required to register through the official online registration system and book at least the "base membership" option. Registrations are screened manually, and you will receive an email notification including all necessary payment information as soon as your registration has been accepted. Currently the only accepted payment method is wire transfer via German banks, SWIFT or SEPA. For legal reasons we can no longer accept payments via paypal. Attendees from outside the Euro Zone should contact Eurofurence via email to payment@eurofurence.org and we will find individual solutions. You must pay all fees (including hotel room, if booked) within 14 days after your registration has been accepted, or your registration may be cancelled. You will receive another email once your payment has been processed.

AGE VERIFICATION

You must be at least 18 years old on the first day of the convention. Due to the liabilities imposed on us by the rather strict youth welfare laws in Germany, we have decided to no longer allow underage participants. All participants must present their photo ID or passport at check-in time.

CANCELLATION AND MEMBERSHIP TRANSFER

Once you have paid for your EF membership, it can not be refunded. However, memberships may be transferred. If you wish to transfer your membership to someone else, both parties must send an email to reg@eurofurence.organd confirm the transfer. We will then update the database accordingly. People showing up at the convention whose names are not in our database will be sent home.

SPONSORSHIP

An easy way to support the convention is to become a sponsor. There are two levels of sponsor memberships available, regular sponsor and super sponsor. Sponsors will be mentioned by name in the con book, get a differently colored name badge, and receive a complimentary souvenir gift package including a free t-shirt. Super sponsors will additionally be rewarded with some additional privileges, such as reserved seats at stage events and access to exclusive events.

PETS

Attendees staying at the main hotel may bring up to one dog per room. Dogs must be registered and an extra cleaning fee will apply. Attendees staying outside the main hotel may bring up to one dog per person. Some areas of the hotel will be off-limits for dogs, including (but not limited to) the restaurants and the pool area. Dog owners are responsible for their pets, and must pay for all damages that their dogs may cause. Dog owners also must clean up after their dogs, and make sure they don't make any "mess" anywhere on the hotel grounds. Please take your dogs for a walk outside the hotel premises. You are responsible for your dog. Security may ask you to leash your dog. If you do not comply with this, security can exclude you and your dog from the convention.

PRIVACY POLICY

Communication with the registration system is secured by data encryption. Your data will be treated confidentially and according to German data protection laws. You agree that we may hand over your personal data to the Hotel for booking your hotel room. We will not disclose your data to any third parties unrelated to Eurofurence, except as required by German law. You will receive emails concerning your registration and payment status, as well as a few announcement emails. We will never send you any emails unrelated to Eurofurence. Please understand that while we do respect your privacy, Eurofurence is not an anonymous event. You will be required to carry a name badge that serves as your admission ticket and identifies you with both your real name, nickname and country of citizenship. Unless you explicitly opt out during the registration process, your real name may also be mentioned in Eurofurence related publications such as the con book. (Especially in the credits, sponsor listing, etc.)
