This page contains all the information necessary to actively participate in the show. The following information will guide you through the Art Show process. For your convenience, we have put all the actual rules onto one comprehensive page, which you will find here:

Complete Art Show Rules

By participating in the Art Show, you agree to these rules.

In the following FAQ, you will get a comprehensive overview of the most important points, with links to the appropriate paragraphs of the full document; naturally this overview is abbreviated. In case of doubt or conflicting interpretations, the full document takes precedence.

Who can participate? Do I need an invitation?

The Art Show is open for everyone who would like to show his or her art. No, you don't need to be invited. You will need to register though. (Read more...)

What are the costs?

Well, and that's the good news: It's free. Eurofurence offers the Art Show as a complimentary service to artists. We do not charge a fee for panels, and we do not charge a percentage of the sales. (Read more...)

How big are the panels? How many can I get?

You can get up to 2 "pre-ordered" panels for hanging artwork, with a size of 2m x 1m. If you don't need quite as much, you can get half or quarter panels. If you need more, you can apply for "overbooked" panels in addition, but we cannot guarantee that you will get any; this will be decided at registration deadline. (Read more...)

I do sculptures. Can I get a table?

Sure. You can order a table instead of a panel. We do need to know beforehand, though, so make sure that request is included in your registration. (Read more...)

What am I allowed to display?

The Art Show displays furry art in the widest sense of the word. Adult art is allowed. However, due to German law, the following topics are not allowed and will be rejected: Nazi symbols, rape, child abuse, bestiality, or excessive violence. Depictions of "messy" fetishes likely to disgust a majority of viewers are discouraged. Please refer to the full document for a thorough discussion on these topics, technical requirements, and other issues. (Read more...)

Can I do photos? Glass etchings? Plaster casts?

Yes, the medium of your art is up to you. You just need to ensure that you display it in a proper way (framed or matted) and that the technical quality of your art reproduction is good. (Read more...)

Can I sell prints?

The Art Show prefers original works, or at least limited prints. If you want to sell unlimited prints, you will need to get a place in the Dealers' Den instead. (Read more...)

Can I sell my original art?

Selling the art that is on display is one of the pillars of the Art Show. We offer sales opportunities and an auction. (Read more...)

How do I sign up?

Write a mail to the Art Show managers under this address. Please include:

When is the deadline?

The deadline for registration is July 1st. Theoretically, you can still register after that date, but you may not get a free panel any more, so please register as soon as possible.

Where can I download the forms/bidsheets?

Bidsheets and online art registration are performed through a specialized web application. You will receive more information after you registered.

Who are the Art Show directors?

Responsible for all aspects of the Art Show - artist relations, signup, technics, hanging and setup - are Cairyn and Blue_Panther. If you have any questions, just send them a mail to this address. Include "EF 13 Art Show" in the topic to avoid any problems with spam filters.

Are there any more rules?

This is just the short version of the Art Show rules. By participating in the Art Show, you agree to all rules and regulations stated in the full document. Click the "Read more" links for the appropriate detail information. Decisions made by the Art Show managers are final; no discussion. Please play fair and nice, and a lot of fun will be had by all.
