Registration

We are currently working to get the electronic registration system up to date for Eurofurence 13, which is taking slightly longer than anticipated due to the new tariff structure, and the new way that rooms are reserved. We hope to get the system online in the first half of january. Until then, this page will inform you about the new prices and conditions.

Since word got around that our new location will be a hotel, many people have been expressing their concerns that they might no longer be able to afford Eurofurence.

It's true that hotel services are a little more pricey than youth hostels, however we've gone a long way to make sure you get your money's worth, and that the costs stay manageable.

New Pricing

We have splitted the con fee into several parts, and many things that used to be mandatory are now optional, giving you better control of what you pay for. The con fee consists of the following components:

Base Fee (mandatory) - 60€

This is the con fee. It's what entitles you to attend the convention. If you just pay the base fee, you'll get a con badge, a program book, and the right to take part in all the scheduled events. The base fee does not include anything else.

Hotel Room (optional) - 100€ (shared double room) / 200€ (single room)

This fee covers your accomodation for the whole length of the con, four nights, from Wednesday afternoon to Sunday. It also includes unlimited and free use of the pool, the fitness center, and the sauna. This is a per-person fee.

Dog Fee (optional) - 40€

The hotel officially allows you to bring your dog. This is a per-person fee, and it is limited to one dog per person. And please be aware that certain areas (like the restaurant) may be off limits for your dog.

Sponsor Upgrade (optional) - 50€

If you want to support Eurofurence with a voluntary donation, you can become a sponsor. As our way of saying "thank you", you will be rewarded with some benefits:

- Sponsors get a Badge that clearly distinguishes them as sponsors

- The hotel has two room categories, "regular" and "superior". Rooms of the "superior" category have more space. Some of them have additional extras, like a balcony, an extra room attached, a sofa, or other things. Sponsors will be assigned "superior" rooms as long as supply lasts. If you're sharing a double room with someone, only one of you has to be a sponsor in order to get a "superior" room. Rooms will be assigned on a first-come first-serve basis.

- Sponsors get a free T-Shirt

- More benefits to be announced

Food (optional)

Food is no longer included in the con fee. The hotel will ofter two large buffets (brunch and dinner) each day that you may choose to take part in. You pay a fixed price for each meal "at the door".

Prices are still to be announced, but will likely be in the 10-15€ Range. The buffets are "all you can eat", and include free drinks (coffee, water, beer, wine, juice). Additionally, snacks and drinks will be available for reasonable prices at the hotel bar all day long.

If the hotel catering should turn out to be above your budget, we don't force it on you. You can as well care for your own food. It's up to you.
