Arriving by plane or train
The international airport code for Nuremberg is NUE. If for some reason you can't find any good direct connection to Nuremberg, Frankfurt International (FRA) could also be a good alternative, as it has a much broader choice of airlines and flights than NUE does. There is a direct high-speed train connection between Frankfurt Airport and Nuremberg central station, allowing you to reach Eurofurence with a mere two stopovers, from plane to train and train to subway.

Nuremberg is, however, very good and afforadble connected to London-Stansted, which is probably quite interesting for our British guests.

Nuremberg Airport
Frankfurt Airport

Due to the central and easily reachable location, there will be no shuttle service for guests arriving by train or airplane. Please use public transport or take a taxi to the castle. A subway station as well as a city bus stop are in the immediate vicinity of the castle.
Arriving by car
This year our location lies within the historic part of the city of Nuremberg. Because of that, we're in a special situation concerning parking space.

THERE ARE NO PARKING SPACES IN THE DIRECT VICINITY OF THE CON SITE.

We will provide you with a city map that shows you where you can safely park your car, so it will be very easy for you to find appropriate parking space. And you will of course be able to load and unload in front of the con site. However, for long-term parking, you will have to use a parking garage or otherwise legal parking space. Simply parking on the curb near the castle WILL get you towed, and we won't be able to help you if that happens. So please, follow our directions.

There are public garages in the vicinity. See their official website for further information and pricing.

Finding the convention site
The official address of the con site is:

Jugendherberge Nürnberg
Burg 2
90402 Nürnberg

If you're feeling uneasy about finding your way to the consite, we suggest using the route planner provided by mapquest.

Directions to the Park and Ride locations and parking garages will be announced soon, we are currently working out the details.
